When do doors open?

Doors open for seating 60 minutes prior for early shows and approximately 30 minutes before late showtimes. Please note, doors are subject to prior show endtime and may change without notice, beyond our control. You are welcome to arrive earlier and enjoy a cocktail on our beautiful patio.

What are your box office hours?

Our box office opens 60 minutes prior to first show time on show days to accommodate walk up ticket sales. We are closed on non-show days. Our preference is that you purchase tickets online prior to the event and that if you have questions, you contact us via email at infotx@micdropcomedy.com.

What is your seating like?

At Mic Drop there isn’t a bad seat in the venue, seriously not 1! Our showrooms have been designed with that in mind. We do have a few rules to take into consideration. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.

  1. Seating is on a first come first served basis.
  2. Our staff will seat you upon arrival strategically for an optimal experience. Seating begins close to the stage and then fans out.
  3. You may be sat with another couple or group.
  4. Handicap seating available! Please contact us at infotx@micdropcomedy.com prior to the event.
  5. Doors will close 15 minutes after the start of an event to avoid disrupting the show.
Do you serve food?

We have tried to put a twist on the normal comedy club fare. Think Robin Hood and his merry men meets Cheech & Chong… we hope that you’ll enjoy what we’ve dreamt up. We also have delicious vegan and gluten free options.

Do you have a drink or item minimum?

Unlike every comedy club since the beginning of time we DO NOT have any drink or item minimum. At Mic Drop we believe that we are all adults capable of making our own decisions. We also believe that our menu is so cool that you will want to order 3 items!

Is there an age limit to attend a show at Mic Drop Comedy?

Our events are 21+, unless specified otherwise in a show’s event description on our website.

Is your venue available for private parties or a meeting space?

Absolutely! Mic Drop specializes in custom events and boutique experiences. Our space is available for private, daytime, and corporate events, including:

  • Holiday parties (with or without private comedians)
  • Networking events or company meetings
  • Celebrations, team-building events, or fundraisers

Can you accommodate large groups for shows?

Yes, contact us with inquiries for groups of 12+. Whether a birthday celebration, holiday party, or just a cool night out for the crew we can deliver an unforgettable experience. Please email us at infotx@micdropcomedy.com to let us know the size of your group prior to your event.

Why are some shows labeled “SPECIAL PRESENTATION”?

SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS shows feature celebrity talent. We do not offer any group rates, honor any passes, or offer discounts of any kind. Purchase tickets early to avoid your favorite comedian selling out!

Do you offer discounts?

Can I take pictures at the show?

We encourage you to take pictures throughout the venue BEFORE AND AFTER the show (tag us @micdropcomedyplano). During the show the use of cellphones and taking pictures is strictly prohibited. Management will approach your table to kindly let you know, please be nice!

Can I resell my tickets?

Ticket resale is strictly prohibited. Any tickets purchased or listed on a third-party website or platform is a direct violation of our Venue Policies and will not be honored, resulting in denied admission. Third party resale websites and platforms include but are not limited to StubHub, Vivid Seats, Seat Geek, eTickets, Tickets Center, Craigslist, OfferUp, Facebook Marketplace, etc. Any tickets suspected of being purchased with the intent of being resold will be voided at the discretion of Mic Drop Comedy.

Can I transfer my tickets to a friend or family member?

To transfer your tickets to a friend or family member, there is a $5.00 transfer fee that must be paid over the phone prior to the transfer. Once the fee is paid, we will take the name, phone number, and email address of the new ticket holder and send them the confirmation email.

Can I get a refund?

All sales are final and non-refundable, however, we do offer venue credit that can be used towards any future show including special events.

Any tickets purchased or listed on a third-party website or platform is a direct violation of our Venue Policies and will not be honored, resulting in denied admission. Third Party Ticketing?

Any tickets purchased or listed on a third-party website or platform is a direct violation of our Venue Policies and will not be honored, resulting in denied admission. Third party resale websites and platforms include but are not limited to StubHub, Vivid Seats, Seat Geek, eTickets, Tickets Center, Craigslist, OfferUp, Facebook Marketplace, etc. Any tickets suspected of being purchased with the intent of being resold will be voided at the discretion of Mic Drop Comedy. Do you have a waitlist for sold out shows?

Yes! In order to join the Waitlist, you must be present at the venue prior to showtime on the day of the event. You will need to provide your name and how many tickets you'd like to purchase. About 10-15 minutes after the show starts, we will go through our showroom and find the empty seats available.

Once we find how many seats are available, we will go down the Waitlist and sell tickets in order of arrival. You must be present at the venue in order to purchase tickets. We cannot guarantee that tickets will be available but we will do our best to get everyone on the list seated.

Please do not attempt to purchase tickets from ticket resale websites or platforms including StubHub, Vivid Seats, Events Ticket Center, Facebook, etc. Any tickets purchased or listed on a third-party website or platform is a direct violation of our Venue Policies and will not be honored, resulting in denied admission.
